Though UFS units have periodically penetrated the city and seized critical infrastructure, those gains have historically been temporary, reversed by determined Coalition counteroffensives after weeks of brutal urban fighting.

What makes the current escalation especially alarming is Sanger’s location deep within what COST considers the heart of its territorial core—an area that, while once controlled by the UFS, has been held by the Coalition for several years.
