molle integrated single point sling

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm wondering what everyone uses for slings on their primaries.

I currently use a tactical tailor CQB sling and I've used grim-locks to keep it in place on my vest but it's cumbersome and doesn't stay on the shoulder straps correctly.

I'm looking for somehow I can integrate it better or a different sling all together.

I prefer HK style attachments and some kind of quick release buckle to partially remove it from the sling but leave the tail attached to the weapon.

Thanks!

Ladyfriend made me a 550 cord weaved 6" "sling" with a snap buckle. Then, I found two straps (I think they came off a camelback) that i clipped to the backside of my vest, ran through the shoulder pads, and tied to the front. Works great, and when I drop my rifle it doesn't block my pistol draw because it hands in the middle. I got the idea from this: http://www.optactical.com/215gesc2insi1.html

I use a an MS2 rigged through the shoulder pads and in between my hydration pack and the carrier. It allows all the pressure to be distributed onto the shoulder padding and it keeps the sling out of the way.

This is a backside view showing the sling rigged into the shoulder and behind the hydration carrier:

I run a cobra single point sling. I got the adapter kit to integrate onto my plate carrier. Beautiful set up in my opinion.
