About Tri-Shot Shotguns

I know this question has been answered in the past, but its been about five years so I wanted to make sure the rules still stand. Will tri-shot shotguns be allowed to be carried as sidearms and falling under that ruleset going into 2022?

Tri-shot or any style shotguns follow the same rules as rifleman primary weapon and are not considered a sidearm.
