Hey, my name is Bo Esmeyer I am 26 out of Owasso, Ok. I am new to airsoft. I have been a paintball player for about 15 years. In the past few I have cut down to only large scenarios such as OK D-day. I ran across some youtube videos of OP: Broken Home.....within a few days I went out and bought an ICS L85. I'm picking up on everything I need here in there, all new to me. Reading through these forums helped me learn some things as I was clueless. I'm glad I stumbled onto this sport thats new to me. Paintball has been dieing for a while now and the Airsoft Community seems to be something I'dlike to be a part of. Can't wait to play my first Op and meet some people.

Also my dad is getting in to it too, we both played way too much paintball. Looks like airsoft is a little bit easier on the wallet once you get started.

Welcome from one convert to another. Been at D-Day last 4 years and decided last year to try airsoft. Glad I did, since I appreciate the structure and more honorable play much better than paintball. Be warned.....once you go airsoft you will be hooked!!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! JP I've already signed up for a small skirmish this weekend at Airsoft Tulsa's Kashistan. I know it will be small so I'm not expecting much I just want to shoot the new gun at someone. I think we are going to sign up for Rebel Yell.

Blue knight I hear ya. I'm working on getting my team to give it a try. I think I've seen the light so hopefully they will soon, there is 15 of us. 3 of us are going to give it a go this weekend so we'll see how the local play goes.

Again, glad to be and thanks for the open arms I know I will have some questions sooner or later; although I try to look up everything I can.

There's a good size op the end of this month at Snake's LZ in Owasso. Won't be nearly as large as Rebel Yell, but probably larger than Kashistan. Kashistan will be a good place to cut your teeth, though. Check out the forums on okairsoft.net and click east vs west for more info on the Owasso Op.

I ended up going to Snakes today. Couldn't have had a better time! Great field, great people, great owner. Thanks for the heads up. It was really hot and there was 50 people, maybe a few more. Great turnout. I will defiinatly be back and I will be playing East vs West
