Helmet NVG shroud replica opinion needed

Some of your helmet pics were fun to look at and had some neat add ons.

 

I sometimes use a non-ballistic PT A-Alpha Halfshell and opted for the pre-drilled holes for NVG. I will probably never purchase NVG's. I am considering buying a replica NVG shroud that wouldn't be actually used as a mount, but I wanted opinion or suggestion from the community if this was a good idea. After all, Airsoft is all about looking good.

Go for it man. I've seen adaptors that can mount headlamps (not a bad idea for cqc or low-light ops!). I just skimmed ebay and found a bunch of VAS knockoffs for 20 bucks shipped.

Thanks for the offer RanDMZ. I'm waiting till after OpIrene and decide whether I'm changing helmet styles or keeping these A Alphas.
