Gbbr's and realcap

Sorry to be that guy but I'm running 30 round real caps with my WE GBBR. It wasn't an issue with the old 1500 round rule but the new 7 mag kills me especially since my kit has room for 14 mags or a measly 420 rounds not including possible malfunctions. so do I just need to ruck up cause this means I have to seriously consider getting rid of almost all my kit and switching to aeg which means I wasted about $700+ for immersion I can't use

 

edit: this sounds very whiny but for transperency ill leave the original post. this will be my first ams event and i tailored my kit to the old ruleset back around bh2 kinda culminating in this especially since this will probably be my only milsim event before i finish highschool and head to ft.sill for basic. and my question is there any parlay for gbb users magazine carry ammount and if not can any gbbr users give me tips for dealing with the handicap

You chose to embrace the extra realism.  Consider it a treat to yourself!  Pick your shots and utilize your FOB/mobile respawn time effectively and you should be ok.  I ran lowcaps in my AEG for a while before I embraced the PTW.  Adds more fun to it, I think.

gotcha i figured as much. thank you. question though since ill be removing my chesy rig and i wear alice y harness with the old m16 pouches how should i cover up that empty space on my chest since im wearing a black pt carrier

The gear color doesnt matter. There will be plenty of people wearing black gear. Just make sure your top is the right color.

As someone who is almost 1005 GBBR, this is not a handicap. Shoot at what you can actually hit. Be prepared to haul ass back to your FOB when needed. There is no need for more than 7 mags. I currently only run 6 for my ghk m4 gbbr. It is more than enough. Just know that you will not be suppressing the enemy like others can.

I love running my LM4.  But the magazines are real weight so if I wanted to carry 14 magazines I'd be carrying about 14 lbs just in magazines.  I carry 6.  One in the gun 5 on my gear.  You certainly have to pick and choose what you shoot at. With AMS rules it does make it kind of a pain to stay loaded up but not undoable.  

 

I played a Lion Claws event once (on Pendelton when I was still stationed on Miramar) and carried spare bbs/gas in my backpack and during my bleedout times I'd be stuffing and regassing mags.  I was able to still play effectively even then.  

 

I've seriously considered selling my LM4 now and picking up a GHK AUG A3 GBBR so I can replicate my real AUG.  I'd still have the same problems lol but would have a unique setup.
