o/  Welcome to American Milsim, and good choice on cost (#CoSTpride). First and foremost, be sure to read ALL the rules. The rules of AMS (american milsim) are in my opinion what make playing with these guys ans gals the best airsoft experience I have had to date. There is no budge on faction uniform color so PLEASE be sure to bring the correct headgear/uniform color. As far as information, the rosters have been emailed to leadership yesterday I believe and they are in the process of dividing players into squads. Once that is complete your squad leader will most likely email you or post something in cost secure forums. the password will be emailed to you at the email address you signed up for the event with. Until then, browse the posts for OP Ironhorse (last years event) to get a lowdown of how things will happen. Browse youtube, get hyped to do some work and be prepared to destroy UFS. I look forward to seeing you there and will (hopefully) lead you into the fight. Until then, operate dangerously. o7

Hey guys been in airsoft since 2007 and got out of it in 2013 since the army wouldn't let me have airsoft guns in barracks just now getting back into this my whole time never knew about milsim and from what I have read and watched is awesome and very friendly almost makes me feel like I'm going back to the military. Plus any advice since I'm going to operation ironclad 3 and it will be my first milsim I have read the rules and I'm gathering my gear now.

And I'm from crestview florida

o/ just have fun. Although it is much like the military in he way some things are run, however many players don't have the same level of experience as the veterans who play with AMS. Everyone is open to being taught new things, like shooting at angles from windows and other tactical maneuvering. And for ironclad 3, use the tunnels and move in the darkness, AVOID BUILDING JJ, that thing is a death trap and a blessing. See you at IC3     o7

Hey VooDoo, This is my first OP as well and I'm a fellow Floridian too. Unfortunately, we seemed to have picked opposing sides (UFS). My friend and I are going to head up a day early on the advice of a player we know who's been to several events. Let me know if you want to convoy up to the AO!  Hope to see you on the field!

Thanks guys. I hope I can go up early, but probably will be later. Im re-reading rules and watching lots of videos. I notice the uniform rules will be changing at Ironclad. But I also see when people ask, there is usually some flexibilty. My only uniform question is if Gorka 3 is allowed. Mine is olive and ranger green, so Im curious If it will pass at IronHorse, or after that when OD green gets dropped. I like the quality of Russian gear and think its highly likely to see Russian 'tourists', like we did in Ukraine. I do have Marpat too, so I do have a set within regs, but just curious if I can also play in my Gorka this time or in the future?
