How do you guys go about getting American Milsim on a military base? Being in the military I have wondered about the legalities of doing it.

Lots of paperwork, phone calls, face to face meetings and DOD classes. Many of us have taken Range Safety Officer classes at so many bases its rediculous. It usually starts with a phone call.

Have you guys ever thought about trying to talk to the base commander at Ft Pickett? There is plenty of room there and it is a training facility.

There actual an old decommissioned navel base in florida near Jacksonville it's been abandoned since 2008 when a hovercraft company used it to build 60 to 100 ft hovercraft and in 2008 couldn't finance it and abandoned everything it looks like an amazing place for a milsim game

The last time a game was done at camp Blanding was 2009, shortly after a paintball company supposedly came in and did not use the proper paint and it failed Cleaning inspection. After that Airsoft and paintball uses of Blanding was banned by the commanding officers. I'm not saying that it isn't possible to make it happen though.

Thats a shame about Blanding. I thought I had seen games there, or people playing OPFOR. Thanks for the input, and I guess I will be happy for Ga and SC events! It would be nice to see some 'woods' games down south here. Something in the mountains of Ga or Tn, much like the Broken Home, Reindeer Games footage Ive seen. I would love to take part in something heavily wooded on this coast. Thanks AMS for these incredible events, and I look forward to the future ones!!
