Medic/Respawn Rules

Recommended Posts

We will be using an amended Medic/Respawn rule at Copperhead this year.

You will be medic'd the same as always, but you will have the option to re-set a bandage in the field.  There will be "Aid Stations" that you guys can set up throughout the field.  You can not re-spawn at these Aid Stations, but you may reset ONE bandage if you meet the following criteria:

If you are wearing TWO bandages, you may re-set ONE bandage at an aid station.  If you are wearing one bandage you may not re-set that one bandage.  If you are at your FOB you may re-set any bandages that you are wearing regardless of number.

Bleedout: You must remain in place for AT LEAST 5 minutes, regardless if you have any bandages or kill cards left.  But, if you would like to remain in place for a medic longer then that, you can wait as long as you want.  However, if you are searched by the Enemy, you then have to return to your respawn point.

Medics:  All Squad leaders are also able to medic hit players, in addition to the assigned medics.

Interesting addendum. Excited to hear how things play out.

Medic has always been that role that is always needed, but rarely enjoyed, and I think a lot of this year's changes are helping to smooth that out. Particularly this new SQL addition and how medic gameplay was handled for CDF at ESR.

Have always thought a hybrid of CDF ESR medic rule and standard might work great as well. Where any player could heal a players first down, but the second down required a medic.

Were working on that, but were trying to find a cost effective, yet slightly more complicated method then just the bandage.
