CDF Uniform Restrictions

"Local Guerrilla Forces. Civilian Clothing and OPTIONAL ONE Piece of Woodland CAMO
(Squads DO NOT HAVE TO match)"

^ Going along with that, I have a few questions I'd like to get cleared up. I apologize if these have been answered at other CDF involved events, but I couldn't find any info.

1) Is black allowed?

2) What about hunting camo? I'm inclined to think that it won't be allowed because it is a tan base, but just wanted to be sure in case anyone asks.

3) As it states, "civilian clothing" but what about odd camos like urban?

Thanks in advance to taking the time to read and answer these questions. Hopefully I didn't miss anything that was clear as day! :)

Guest Specs

If CDF is working as it did in RY3 for this year, it would be typical M81 woodland bottoms (or jeans), and a civilian top. Black to my knowledge has been reserved for RP'ing members of the AMS staff.

I think this is in due part to CDF only being in conflict with UFS at this point. Without CoST's presence at events with them the easiest method for differentiation would be to keep any camo scheme for CDF still green in tonality. (And rightfully so as they seem to be under CoST influence for the time being. )

As always though, I'd defer to official say-so from AMS staff.

That will be fine as long at it's "once" piece -- top or bottom. The idea is the CDF are a indigenous militia and not 100% regimented or organized like a traditional fighting force. These are like minded citizen that have banded together to fight for their home, family and friends.

Thanks everyone! Good to know so I can have an idea of what I want to use for a loadout (Half the fun of airsoft is dressing up, haha!)

Can't wait to get out to End State 4 and fight for the CDF! Appreciate you all taking the time to clarify this for me  :)

I had a quick question, I know in the ruleset it states that equipment gear color does not have to match our uniforms for our faction, does that also apply to vests? I've got a black vest I plan on wearing for my CDF outfit and wanted to confirm that it was alright since I do know that black headgear is usually not allowed.

The black vest is good to go.

Unless you wear it on your head.😉

Another question, if anyone knows the answer. Since we're getting close to crunch time for ESR, I had one last question to ask about CDF uniforms. Are we allowed to wear bump helmets? I recall seeing something talking about how we needed civilian headgear -- just checked and I'm not sure exactly where anymore. I'm mostly asking more or less because my bump helmet is my best platform for recording gameplay.

Combat shirts. Go or no go? Also is navy blue to close to black? First time playing CDF.

Thanks in advance

Combat shirts will be ok, as long as they are not conflicting with the UFS uniform, and you are only wearing one piece of woodland camo clothing.

The chances for storms this weekend keep increasing as the days go on. Will rain gear be restricted to none camo rain gear? I have my realtree rain jacket I would like to bring with me when it rains. I'll have M81 bottoms and a regular shirt when it's not raining.

You must still adhere to faction uniform requirements for rain gear, cold weather gear, any other piece of clothing you want to wear as a top layer, etc.
