Flight Options

Hi there folks,

 

Looking into plane tickets for Operation Ironhorse and it looks like the nearest airport is Southwest Georgia Regional (ABY) at an hour and a half way. Does anyone know of any closer options? Also, does anyone have any recommendations for transport to and from the airport?

 

This will be my first American MilSim event, so forgive the noobly questions.

There is an Airport Literally out side of the Guardian Center, I dont know if its public or not, but you may want to research ticket prices to Perry Ga.

Are you old enough to rent a car?

Atlanta (Hartsfield-Jackson) is 1:40 north along I-75. It's a major airport and your best bet by far for flying in. I am probably going to end up renting a car, and I'm not opposed to a carpool.

Ranger - We fly into Atlanta (Hartsfield-Jackson) airport, it was an easy drive straight south.  I do not think it took longer than an hour to get there.

If you're willing, I'd be more than willing to pay for my portion of the rental car/gas. If it works for you, I'll PM you once we get closer to the event and we'll get our flights coordinated.

We're flying in aswell and renting out a van , for us its the cheapest route to take
