I'm new, few questions.

Recommended Posts

Hey. This will be my first time coming to a big operation like this. My few concerns are, I have LBX Project Honor Camo -  https://www.google.com/search?q=lbx+camo&biw=1884&bih=873&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CCcQsARqFQoTCJ2MyarJjsgCFcRVPgodqV8NzA#imgrc=enOcAoaOeQsY9M%3A

Secondly, I am 16, I saw something about having to be 18 to play, if I'm 16 and have a parent sign a wavier or something will I be able to play?

Is that possible to run on any teams? If my buddy and I are going, do we need to buy a certain camo / helmet that all match? PLEASE give me the run down on what I need to know, I am using a polarstar, what is FPS with what gram bb. I am very confused!

Thanks!

Depends on what faction you're looking to play on. If you're CDF, you don't have to worry about camo. If you're UFS, there's camo regulations in the rules section. Your polarstar issues too are dealt with in the rules section.

Agreed with Janitor's comments above. In regards to your specific questions:

1. UFS and CDF do not support project honor as a camo option. I do believe that CoST is good to go for project honor, but as this will be a CDF VS UFS event, you'll need to go CDF and run a civilian top with your M81 woodland pants. (Many are running Hawaiian or plaid)

2. With a legal gaurdian on site, you should be good to play. They just have to be in close proximity in the event of any medical emergencies. There are some sites that are 18 only and up, but fortunately for you, RY3 at Camp Gruber isn't one of them. Normally your squad should match pants, tops, and headwear but I don't believe that is the case for CDF as a faction since they are a ragtag civilian element.

3. I don't personally run a polarstar, so you'll have to read up on that subject in the ruleset. Should have everything you need. But I'm sure you've already gone through that thread as that's what a responsible new member should do.  ;)-cough cough -

On another note, your first post on any forum community should always be an introduction post in the proper introduction thread. So be sure to get that in there soon.

CDF (Civilian Defense Force) - Local Guerrilla Forces. Civilian Clothing and ONE Piece of Woodland CAMO (OPTIONAL)

Project Honor is not an approved camo for this event (it usually is an approved camo for COST).

1 piece of woodland (m81 top or bottom).

As a new player make sure you familiarize yourself with the AMS ruleset, it will save your faction.

If you're on the CDF faction sure! Gonna have to check with your squad though, because they might want you to wear jeans or something solid colored.

Sorry, no Project Honor clothing at this event. It was clearly posted under registration and Slab was kind enough to reiterate it above. The only camo you can wear would be woodland pants.

The CDF is supposed to be a civil militia, not a organized military/contractor/mercenary force. It seems AMS would like players to look the part.

Please remember the rules (READ THEM) and restrictions (READ THEM) at an AMS event. Any failure to abide by them will count as "War Crimes" point deductions which can have a severe penalty on the overall outcome of what faction is the winner.
