Eye and Face Protection

Recommended Posts

the Ops Core Sentry helmet, has an attachable, Eye shield and Face Shield, with the 2 combined, would that be considered as full seal? or would that still require some form of under shield protection?

i think to be on the safe side, since the visor is separate from the shield, and flips up, i think im going to wear some oakley m-frames and Helos under it.

These still have a sizable gap on the sides. A bb from behind could find its way in.

If there is a "sizable gap" then they would be a no go.  Like I said, they "look OK from here".  Here being looking at a picture on the internet.  If they are indeed not full seal, then they will not conform to the rules.  It is up to the player to ensure that his eye pro is full seal.

PLEASE, Make sure your eye-pro is full sealing. I don't want to have to do opthalmic first aid on some yahoo that wouldn't follow safety rules. B)

It is the players responsability to ensure that they seal fully around your eyes.  If they seal fully around your eyes, then they are good to go.  If they do not, then they are good to go.  I can not totally see if they seal around your eyes from here.

bacardi5363 those would work in theory but beware that some full seal glasses are produced using a universal fitment standard so they might fully seal the demo head but they might have gaps when you put them on yours.

I personally had to work my Oakley M-Frames in a bit to get my helo kit to fully seal.
