CDF headgear,Solo player

So i run comms on my helmet and thats the only way i run them and im singing up for CDF....My question is can i do this? Also i dont have anybody to go with and its just going to be me(legal guardian will be on site) How am i suppose to get paired up with matching squadmates?

Pretty sure your gear (including headwear) is unregulated. Provided your helmet is CDF/CoST camo approved, you should be fine. If it's tan, multicam, AOR1, etc. then you will need to paint it or find a helmet cover.

 

As the event date draws closer, you should get a CDF secure forum password from your assigned platoon leader. If you go into that forum, you'll see an updated roster that shows what other players you've been paired with. Message those players and your squad leader to get in touch and plan out where and when you'll meet.

So I wear a black Dickies working cap because it's neutral, goes with my gear, and has a short brim as I like it. I know black cover is no-go for CoST and UFS, but what about CDF? Still not kosher?

The CDF can wear whatever they want as long as they do not look like UFS.
