It's gonna be wet.

I live in Wyandotte and have been keeping an eye on the weather for next weekend. It looks like it's gonna rain. There is a 60% chance right now. I'm ok with this! Besides not seeing out of goggles it's a lot of fun but was curious if we're gonna drive on rain or shine or if there is some type of incliment weather plan, etc....?

We had flooding and chances of tornados last year and we all stuck it out!

Or even CS Gas

The second I heard about that I immediately regretted not being able to shovel out cash to loadout for eastwind...

that seems like it would have been fun!

That was a fun briefing.

"Our limit of advance is Phase Line Criminal here at the 694 northing line, we cannot under any circumstances move beyond that line."

"However, higher did not say anything about clouds of irritant gas so we will deny the enemy the use of  Neuhausen Spree (our name for Caen) and the 5 points junction with CS gas"

Players are expected to conduct combat operations in inclement weather.

Is there a severe weather plan incase there is severe enough weather to kill us?

I am reminded now why I no longer live in Oklahoma. Bring something waterproof so you can pretend it will work and laugh at the equally wet losers that neglected to bring theirs.

Like said earlier wait 20 minutes and it will change.... but temps look amazing for the event... nothing breaking the 80 mark for the weekend.

It's still a week out at this point.  Weather forcast could change every day leading up to the event.  Just bring the weather gear in case you need it.

My question is more on the Helo.  I can't see them operating in a thunderstorm.  For those that bought helo gun runs what would happen if the chopper is gounded?

If there is a thunderstorm approaching, the chopper will beat feet over to Grove municipal airport till it passes. The Robinson is NOT an all weather bird.

I remember one large game (un-named) where  it rained all day and my team of Dirkas roamed the AO in our man-dresses. We killed many invaders at will in the rain. A great game that was.

Last year we got lucky and only had bad weather at night. This year in OKC we've had a few tornado warnings already. I'm hoping that most this rain gets dumped the week to come and dries up for the weekend. I know that's not how weather works but one can hope! :D

how to be MILSIM In inclement weather in steps

rain shitty poncho that traps heat making you sweat your ass off all the while repelling no actual water,

high winds - put on helmet and hope a tree branch does not fall and take you out,

lightning- dig a foxhole in the middle of a open field and sit in it holding a long metal  rifle shaped object.

tornado- skip all previous steps ,locate nearest tow cable and chain yourself to a tree
