McKinney, Texas checking in..

I was looking around for something our team leader posted in google, and his intro post popped up here!  So I figure why not do the same for myself and son...

 

I'm Forge (Reid) and I am also a member of Texas Steel Milsim, located in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. I am following my son on to the Texas Steel team, he actually joined a month or two ago, and since I am always out with him I got to see the team play and grow a lot from the outside...

 

We actually started about a year ago - Afro (the son, and his call sign is spot-on) did a paintball event for his birthday, and graduated to airsoft by May. I jumped in about July... and we've been spending money on it ever since.

 

We joined the Ronin Ops team briefly last year, however, it had split, so my son found Texas Steel, and I am really impressed with the leadership in this group. 

 

We're looking forward to running with everyone at Broken Home!  And if you get a chance to come play at our home field (D14 in Sanger, TX) or one of the other fields in DFW (like DFW Adventure Park) come say hi!

Welcome to AMS!  Always good to see more Texas people on here, regardless of the side they choose to fight on!  I'm up in Wichita Falls, about two hours away from all you guys down in the Metroplex.   Gonna try to make some plans to head down that way and see what the fields are like sometime in the future!  We have nothing going on here in Falls town in terms of Airsoft so we have to travel to OKC or DFW for any kind of field play.
