Alex I think He just asked If he could pull up the flag such as the faction flag being fought over and take off with it. Pretty sure they need to stay in place.

It sounded to me like he was asking if he was assaulting any objective, could he pull his own flag out of his pocket and carry it in like mel gibson in the patriot.  If we put a flag on the field, it needs to stay where we put it.  There is no reason to pull up a 16ft tall control point flag and run off with it.

I've seen it done Once. and that person looked like an idiot every time they got shot and wondered why he was targeted....

If it's a UFS flag, you can take it and run like the wind Bullseye!  Hell, run it back to your base and put it on a flag pole.  If it's a CoST flag, just let it ascend the flag pole and enjoy the breeze.  Stand back and just be filled with awe and amazement at such a beautiful flag.
