Assuming you are registering under CoST that's fine. But as always, you may receive some friendly fire from your side.

I have another question that I feel is a bit on the stupid side but I'm going to ask any way! So say I'm on CoST can I use woodland pants and an OD Combat Shirt?

UNIFORMS

Uniform regulations exist to give an appearance of a cohesive unit and not give the appearance of a group of individuals.  It is hoped that this will give a better overall experience to all players.

A.  Authorized camo patterns vary from event to event and will be posted with event details prior to registration

B.  Tops and Bottoms must match.

C.  Tops should be a BDU/Combat Shirt type uniform top.

D.  Bottoms must be pants.

E.  Squad member’s camo should match within the Squad

F.  Headgear should match within the Squad

G.  Headgear color will be faction specific.  Camo or Solid colors is Authorized.  Black is not authorized

H.  In the event of inclement weather uniformity regulations are relaxed but all worn items must still be faction specific in regards to color.

I.  Special uniforms may be authorized for specific role playing groups outside of the typical uniforms but not for those playing under the conventional CoST/UFS Forces.

J.  Gear color does not matter.  You can wear any color gear you wish.

K.  Red shirts may only be worn by AMS Staff.  Photographers or observers may wear any high visibility color other then red.

L.  Photographers/Observers must not look like combatants.  They may wear any type of clothing other then military type uniforms.

I seen that, I was just wondering beacuse the last few years I see many people doing half and half so I was wondering if it was some sort of rule for BH or what.

As stated above ^^^.

Do note that it's become common for camo matching issues to be deducted as a war crime from your team. Don't be the guy that adds to that list.

Awesome thanks, I'm glad you guys cleared it up. I've been wearing woodland tops and bottoms. I just wanted to be sure before I ordered an OD combat shirt to go with my woodland pants.

Question, headgear is hat, eye pro, and half face mask and not just hat/helmet? I have a green hat and googles but have a white and tan half face mask so it becomes a no go yes? I'm on CosT.

what about if in the squad 2 people have woodland and 2 have Project Honor? For a total of 4 players in the squad.

See "E." Above. A 4-man element is a fireteam, not a squad. Everybody within the squad (your four guys and the guys you get paired up with to come up to full complement) needs to be wearing one or the other.

The terrain in the AO is rough on uniforms. I've done nearly a dozen events at DDAP and go down there often to help admin their big Paintball game, drive trucks for them or drive the trails in the Eastwind off-season. You'd be well suited out there in surplus M81 woodland camo- dense summer vegetation means you'll be easily hidden in any pattern if you want to be, If you rip it you're not out much money and project honor's high tan/green ratio could earn you some friendly fire engagements.

I have a hard time seeing why tiger stripe is not under the "green uniform" I may be new to the sport but green is green in my opinion.  Care to elaborate as to why tiger stripe is unauthorized for wear? Yet almost every known uniform color out there is authorized for wear. Thanks.
