Any HAM's?

I'm a ham but im not giving my call because someone could look me up on QRZ.com and find my QTH and jack my radios. anyway my dad go me into the hobby. I have a Baofang UV-5R that i got at a hamfest that i didn't know i would use for airsoft. well acctually i got it a few years before i got into airsoft. BTW what is the most unique piece of equipment you have. i have an old czechoslovakian 50-55mHz transeiver with everything it originaly came with. I also got it out at the dayton hamvention back in 2010. Most of you are in 0 call land so you know what it is.

Most folks could find your address though your IP address and probably get a lot more info than what the FCC displays publicly. 

 

Guess I really don't have any unique equipment.  A slew load of Baofengs, an older Yaesu FT-90R, a 10 watt dual band chinese radio I bought a few  years ago.  Other than that nothing really fancy.  Oh an Airband Yaesu I used as a primary radio in my ultralight for a year or two.

I was going to comment on the necropost but I thought it unnecessary.

 

My case is rather interesting, as delving into comms for Airsoft renewed an interest I had in amateur radio and pushed me to get my tech ticket (working on general).  I had to choose a couple of the most expensive hobbies, it seems.  I've got a seemingly random assortment of HTs (mostly Motorola), Baofengs of course, a Yaesu FT-2900R, and two Motorola spectras.  Also have two HF units I need to get fixed up.

 

It's interesting to see that there's a ham subcommunity of airsoft.  I wish more airsofters were hams as well so that we could use the ham bands, maybe repeaters, and higher power for better comms on the field.

Hy-Tec Hurricane powered by a Rotax 503.  I'll have another ultralight someday.  Just too much fun not to have one.
