I would really like to attend OP: Copperhead. I wish there was a official thread for the event.

 

I'm a resident of Raleigh NC and I am hoping to find some recommendations about where to book a flight to and tips for logistics.

 

Any help is appreciated.

As far as logistics are concerned I can't really help you because I am driving. However the two closest airports to Playas are either Tuscon, AZ or El Paso, TX. Both are right about 180 miles away.

I'm 2 hours away from the AO. Fly into El Paso, TX. Will be the shortest drive from any airport, and probably one of the cheaper ones.

The closest airports are El Paso or Tucson.  I hear El Paso is closer.  Let me know if I can help.

KELP is over $100 more than KABQ.  If you can find a ride in NM, fly into KABQ.  I highly recommend flying Southwest as they are the best when flying with firearms.  DO NOT attempt to fly with your airsoft guns as anyting other than REAL firearms.  I have flown with my gear multiple times with no issues.  No matter which airline you fly make sure you check their policies on how to pack and secure the guns.  Follow the rules with precision and you will be fine.
