Please look over and be familar with the AMS ruleset.  This covers everything from FPS requirements, to medic rules, to uniform requirements.  If you are in violation of any of these rules YOU WILL BE ASKED TO FIX YOURSELF BEFORE YOU STEP ONTO THE FIELD.

 

You are required to attend a safety brief and fill out a waiver before you are allowed on the Active AO.  This includes photographers, observers, and sponsors.  Please see the event schedule for safety briefing times.  Safety brief is approx 30-40 minutes long, it is encouraged that if you live locally and can register, chrono, and attend safety brief on friday that you do that.  There will only be two safety briefs on Saturday morning.  Don't miss them.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS REQUIREMENT!!  If you get there late, you will most likely not be on the AO at start time.

 

Look at the AMS ruleset as a guide for you to work yourself around.  The way we see it, if we give an exception to one person, then we have to give an exception to everyone else.  We don't give exceptions.

Out of curiosity, will there be no print-off waiver option(s) because of this?


Like....We hear the safety briefing, Then sign the waiver (after everything (of what we already Should know) has been explained to us)?

This will not impact print out waivers.  The waiver is not an indication that you have heard the safety brief.  You will check in, sign waiver, then attend a safety brief.  You will receive a bracelet that will show you were in the safety/rules brief.  We will have waivers on site for you to fill out and sign.

in regards to the AMS Waiver, is it possible to print it, fill it out, and Fax it to an AMS Head staff member, so it is on file already or is that a no-go?

Ranger fox. Each event has its own wavier. You can print it out And bring it with you to speed up registration, but we still have to physically have it then.
