  1. One consideration would be a duty drop with a single leg strap. It drops the holster just enough to clear your PC or Vest but keeps the secondary off your thigh where it has a tendency to roll forward and back as you are running. Usually vest or PC mounted secondaries are more common for vehicle ops where it is more difficult to draw from your hip or thigh. Hope that helps.
  2. I agree with you Doc, many countries have a mandatory two year military obligation and I feel that it could help give some of our troubled youth these days some direction and perspective.

  7. I may have to sign up, I don't know if they would understand my OPORDs though because I usually issue them with a big honkin plug of Redman chew in and I drop an F-Bomb in every other sentence. LOL
  8. Awesome! Congratulations and good luck! The military is a great profession of arms and some of my best memories ever!

  13. I have a WE SCAR that I bought back in 2010. It was a Ver 3 closed bolt and would hook BBs to the right constantly. It would also divot the BB horribly. I spent the next year throwing all kinds of upgrades on it and it still never performed very well. In late 2011 when we came out with their Open Bolt conversion kit I jumped all over it and the gun is 100% better from accuracy and dependability. I but the gun as an alternative to real steel training because of the expense of ammo and range time. I found it to be the closest simulation for real steel training that you can get without going to simunitions which is really expensive and next to impossible to get if you aren't LE or military. The GBBR provides you with the realism of mag change and bolt manipulation which is why I like it so much. I am not sure about there use during a game unless you had everybody run one because they do require maintenance and Mags are limited to 30 rounds, but the fact that I can do real steel type training in my back yard is invaluable. I am running Green Gas mags and would like to change over to CO2 mags when I get some extra cash because I have had better dependability with CO2 then Green Gas with my pistols. GBBRs have come a long way in a short time. Are they ready for prime time? I'm not sure, that is for each to decide for themselves. I do think that if you are a Milsim guy that likes to shoot real steel on the side that you are doing yourself an injustice by not having one of these in your arsenal. My only suggestion once again as consider the WE Open Bolt System (price is reasonable) and consider CO2 mags. Just my two cents worth. Feel free to PM me if you have questions.
