  11. For our PX888's, most of us are using a speaker-mic that has a remote antenna, and an acoustic ear-piece set up. We had to custom build it as it seems you can either by one set up for an ear piece, or get one with a remote antenna, but not both (which is what we wanted.) They work great, and improve communication range as it gets the antenna higher up, and away from your body. Here is a pic:

  13. That makes me happy to hear. Don't need to worry about something heavy, made of metal raining down and perforating my skull. That would definitely ruin the weekend.
  14. The rule of thumb with the spring is the M# is the # of meters per second +/- 5%. 1 meter = 3.28 feet. So for an M120 you would multiply 120 x 3.28 = 393 FPS. Then if you subtract 5% it would be 374. If you add 5% it would be 413. So for an M120, you should expect around 393 FPS, but it could range between 374 to 413 FPS. This can go up or down depending on other factors inside the gun such as your air nozzle, piston head, cylinder head, barrel diameter/length, and other compression related parts. Altitude, air temperature, and air pressure can also impact your FPS. The springs are a sea-level rated velocity.

  17. That is correct. The -2 is what Motorola and other manufacturers use to symbolize that CTCSS code. It is easier to display the 2 on a screen than 71.9.

  20. It is the "Sub-channel" code. For the -2, program your CTCSS as 71.9

  24. The APS are plastic and are prone to melting when you use a LiPo (even with a fuse & mosfet.) I have experienced this twice.
