  1. Autolycus, It was an in-house job that was done. No material to read up on, but I can try to describe how it's done... Basically started with one of these: http://www.409shop.com/409shop_product.php?id=102493 It needs to be taken apart, and the housing drilled and sanded to accommodate the antenna cable. The antenna cable used is roughly 24 inches of RG58 low loss cable with an SMA-F on one end and an SMA-M on the other. The SMA-M is routed through the speaker mic housing, and secured in place with using a bulkhead and a screw ring, much like you see where the antenna attaches to your Puxing radio. I would recommend buying the cable, and connections and assembling these on your own, it is much more expensive to commercially order custom lengths already assebled. This place wants roughly $35 for the custom cable... http://www.theantennafarm.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=342_344_367_379&products_id=1457 We use a dual band antenna with a 10 watt power rating as we have "tuned up" the power on our radios for better output, and it ensures compatibility with any handheld VHF or UHF band radio which accepts SMA-F antenna input and 2-pin Kenwood Speaker Mic. The earpiece system is plugged into the speaker mic: http://www.twowaydirect.com/motorola-ex500-listen-only-earpiece-for-shoulder-mics-shadow/?gclid=CMnS0N2JsrMCFcU-MgodLlQACg Once reassembled, the SMA-F cable is screwed into the radio, the speaker mic is plugged in to the radio. I can build one for you and ship it out to you, probably in the ballpark of $50 for everything. Email me if you're interested and we can discuss it further.

  10. Guys, you have PL 71.9 listed for 1-1 & 1-2, I believe 1-1 should be PL 67.0, correct?

  14. UFS PMC's are wearing the original ATACS (the tan type that looks similar to backed up sewage, not the recently released green-ish type.) As far as CoST PMC'S, I have not heard what they are wearing. I believe everyone receives a guide of friendly vs. enemy camo patterns upon arrival. I know UFS QRF has a few different patterns (a couple multicam, and my team is wearing ACU aka. old lady couch camo) but staff should be on top of this and give the friend vs. foe guide.
