The state of Texas has been a major focal point in the war since inception due to its numerous Coalition communication hubs all over the state. Unfortunately, the city of Sanger has taken the blunt of the abuse. The UFS victory last year here in Sanger gave the Federation a much needed stronghold deep in COST territory. However, with recent losses in Colorado and Alabama the Federation has been forced to regroup and focus on stabilizing its efforts in the area while the Coalition has been busy fighting for its space in Killeen against the excessively aggressive Sierra Dynamics agenda.
