Situation

The outskirts of Alton have been a key area for supply chains throughout the war. With its central location in the country, railway access to almost anywhere and is set on the banks of the Mississippi River, it has become one of the key areas of interest for both COST and UFS. After last year’s heavy fighting, UFS has maintained a Battalion to manage the area and help rebuild and expand the depot. The latest Federal intel suggests massive COST troop movements heading north and east toward Perry and Alton. The Federation has begun making preparations for a potential aggressive Coalition action.
