The start of 2023 was problematic for the Federation with a sound defeat in Georgia. However, after a recent COST intel leak, UFS was able to allocate extra forces to the city of Sanger. These rapid deployments could hold off yet again another Cost counter-offensive deep in COST territory and allowed UFS to hold its ground.
Meanwhile, UFS intelligence has received information about a possible breach in security at one of their major ammunition supply depots in Indiana. Since the war’s inception, this UFS stronghold has not seen any fighting in or near its area. UFS satellites have picked up massive troop movements heading north toward Missouri, Illinois and Indiana. With what looks like an imminent threat to this munitions facility, UFS has begun preparation.
