#40689 Southern front Weather?

Posted by TheJP on 02 April 2019 - 12:52 PM

Hello all, i like alot of others going are worried about the weather, what will happen if the rain get super bad as it is forcasted currently?

You literally just operate in the rain, like...the...military.

We do not cancel events because of rain if there is ground strike lighting within 5 miles we will pause the event.

Bring rain gear in the proper faction color.

I live in Houston and am hoping to play for CoST with a buddy, problem is i can only make there like Saturday night(roughly 1800) is this gonna be a problem? What do i need to bring and what are just extra "nice" thibgs to have? Also, if i dont have a radio is that ok? Sorry alot I know.

Won't be a problem at all! You'll be able to play a small portion of the night evolution the Sunday evolution.  Don't need a radio, bring extra BBs, socks, water, snacks and medication you might need.

Just make sure you guys register ASAP I am building out rosters soon.

#40631 Vortex SPARC II vs Aimpoint PRO

Posted by TheJP on 11 January 2019 - 06:32 PM

Literally, no reason to spend 400 dollars on an Airsoft sight unless you plant to use it on RS as well...

IMO if you just need a Red Dot, get a knock off one for 5080 bucks or whatever they are -- since there isn't recoil the zero should hold. I popsicle mine to my front post and then set my hop-up each event and I am good to go...

#40575 Black Card out of stock?

Posted by TheJP on 25 October 2018 - 11:29 AM

Yes, we are re-vamping the BC for 2019 and there will be a "fixed" amount for sale per year to make sure those BC members have the best experience as possible.

#40536 When will we see non lethal marker rounds in sport applications?

Posted by TheJP on 30 September 2018 - 02:24 PM

Never, the price is too $$, in fact, I've talked to many train facilities that have flipped their OPFORs to BBs rather then UTM/SIMs because of price.

Hello all, Brand new to American Milsim Copperhead 4 will be my first event signed on as a rifleman for PSA. I'm can't wait to make the drive out to playas and get a chance to break in some fresh kit! If anyone needs any 3D printed parts let me know, I am always looking to increase my pyro budget.

Note: If anyone's fireteam is short a man I would be happy to fill in I've got no battle buddies as it sits right now. Currently rocking an APEX R5 M4 Type Rifle which is all tuned up as well as an FNX45 sidearm. All Ranger Green/OD Gear if that makes any difference.

Welcome to the AMS Coumminty! Look forward to seeing you at CH this year!

#40371 Camping?

Posted by TheJP on 12 June 2018 - 02:37 PM

Follow up question: What do people usually do for food when camping?  Obviously there isn't a "lunch break" so I plan to bring stuff to eat on the field for lunch, but I would like a hot meal at night. Can we bring charcoal grills, or is gas the way to go?

Yes, you can bring Grills -- no open fires, I'd say charcoal is the best.

People go out and eat or cook at camp.
