#11751 Banshee Vs. Pantac LT6094

Posted by Jager on 10 April 2013 - 06:14 PM

Having run for many years with a Pantac plate carrier, I can testify about its durability and bargain for-the-buck. I also have SoTech gear. It costs more than the Pantac but it to is high quality. You have to determine your load-out you are going to use the most at skirmishes, training or Ops. Then determine which LBG is going to work best for you and your budget.

Remember DirtPro is a Pantac dealer and has alot of experience to help you meet your LBG requirements.

#9040 An idea for a major operation...

I believe this is what American Milsim does each year with OP: Broken Home and Alan Swayze does with OP: East Wind.

#6231 Operation: Rebel Yell

Thanks to Metal and Tusk for their modern renditions of Rebel Yell. But lets talk here, overlooking the clothes and other 1984 production techniques, Billy Idol is the one who kicks this song. Take a look:

And 26 inch chrome wheels!

Grendel, those were going to be for The Mule when we pimp-it up.

Thank you for the clarification. OBR wants "leather seating"

To be clear, is the fee structure for DAM $250 divided by 8= $31.25 or is it $250 divided by 8= $31.25 + $75= $106.25?

#6137 What weight BB would you prefer?

I have been using .28-.30's with good accuracy. They do work well in the environments that exist at The LZ and DDAP.

#6064 SCOTUS strikes down Stolen Valor Act

Its a basic issue of freedom of speech...they have that right. Freedom of speech is what this country was founded on. NOW that does not make lying acceptable at all, especially about something so honorable like service to one's country.

Today, being D-Day we should all take time to show our gratitude for the men and women who insured we have the freedoms we have today. Thanks to the Greatest Generation!

#5550 Purposed Improvements for all future AMS events

Posted by Jager on 04 June 2012 - 08:21 PM

  • Integration of an admin or MOD into the civilian side.
    • Course of action for the civilians / insurgents after initial contacts.
  • Reduction of non game traffic on roads
  • Camp site coordination
    • power / water not being on thursday?
    • Possibly assign generalized locations for factions?
  • Vehicles requiring hit whip flags as well or everyone in the vehicle to hold up flags

I agree Blackbird. This year The Regulators, Robinson Recon and our CoST Platoon1 CO, Rocketman camped together this year. It does increase intersquad cohesiveness. I believe we will try to, informally, within our platoon, get more of the squads to camp together next year.

#5520 Purposed Improvements for all future AMS events

Untill you have a larger staff and cover the other issues regarding more admins, I think the in-field chrono is unnecessary at this time, as they have been checked already. Being a game of honor and potentially detracting from game-flow, this suggested requirement should be demphasized untill a need is determined and game admins have more spare-time. All players know the importance to comply with this safety issue.

Nice job Shooter! You did a great job of documenting the event. But most of all, putting up with a tentful of Regulators!
Thanks for your good work and tolerance.

#5132 What new gear did you use at "Broken Home" ?????

Bobster eye-pro with fog tech applied. I had zero fogging. Inexpensive and very functional, I give them a thumbs up.

#4076 OP: Broken Home Question and Answers

Posted by Jager on 08 May 2012 - 11:51 AM

I'm not sure this goes here but i'll ask anyways.

Question 1 - do you HAVE to follow your Squad leaders orders within reason?
Question 2 - if your squad leader for one reason or another appoints someone else as squad leader, or lead of a fire team do you HAVE to listen to the appointed person until further notice?

I was curious as to how that goes, if there was maybe a penalty or something for someone who completely ignores any orders and decides to go off on their own, or maybe a group of people in a squad who decide to do that. I don't see it being a problem but i've met some pretty abrasive people.

DO YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW YOUR SQL's ORDERS?? Hell yes you do or you run the risk of being shot by you own squad members or other fellow team mates or causing the enemy to shoot your teamates. You, as a riflemen do not know the Big Picture and could, due to you NOT following your orders, compromise your whole squad or other teamates. For you to even pose this question indicates you have alot to learn. This is a team sport. LONE Wolves are not worth having on your team, unless you have a sniper team or recon team that has an assignment. Even then it is a sniper or recon TEAM.
Think about and research your questions before posting.
