Q&A

Out of curiousity and to get this think started. You briefly went over the under 18 rule, but im not seeing the logic behind it. Most teenagers tend to be active and athletic so physically theyll be fine, and if your new to the site and dont know anyone who can vouch for you, your saying that person cant go?

The logic is that once a person is the age of 18 they are no longer considered a minor.

This save us a huge amount of headache and paperwork dealing with minors. We can make exception to the age rule, but you'll need to fill out the Minor application found in the forums thread.

On the signup page what is the difference between the early registration, slot reservation and slot balance payment?

Excellent question.

Early registration is a discounted price of 185.00, once early registration ends normal price is 200.00 for registration.

Slot reservation allows you to pay down non-refundable deposit on a slot to "reserve" it for you. Hopefully this helps you guys spread the cost of the event out a some. The full balance must be paid by Oct 17th by purchasing the "Balance Payment ticket".

Honestly the price is of admission is not a bad deal at all and seeing what the player gets pretty much on par with other national events.

When you register what do you get?

Never before used by civilian training facility of GTI!

Three day event (if you participation in the MMX Course or War Sport Experience). You will get two day evolution, one night evolution from Saturday-Sunday. Each player receives one bottle Elite Force BIO BBs, Faded Giant PVC event patch, Faction flag patch, American Milsim OP Veteran PVC patch and event tee. Not to mention the chance to see the latest products from companies like G-Code, HSGI, War Sport, etc...

The Direct Action Mission Package is another great deal if you have a squad of 8-10 players. For 350 dollars your squad will get a custom written - open ended missions. During your 'DAM Operation" you will interact with various props, LARPs (Live Action Role Players) and SFX Pyro. These missions can be anything from HVT grab and bag, Bomb defusal, "Secrete" object retrieval, etc... Each DAM operation is escorted by Admin(s) and Video/Photographer to document your squads actions during the mission. The media will be available to the DAM squad 1-2 weeks after the event.

Think I have gone a little past what you asked but hopefully his well others who still have questions.

I just watched Biglar's video and was wondering on the Full Auto part indoors. Do you think that will take away from the stealth/sneaky part of the game and just make it a hosefest?

No, normally we do not allow Full Auto inside structures, but because of the size and length of some of the passage ways sqauds will need the ability to suppress in order to make headway.

You bring up a good point with a hosefest, with our ammo limit system if everyone went FA it would cripple their squad in a few minuets.

And is 300 FPS set in stone? Or, are you still thinking about the FPS indoor limits.

Still thinking on it, I'd like to "not" alter our AMS rule set and only allow Semi-auto only inside, but the staff is still debating it. If we did the indoor FA only rule, I'd like to see nothing over 320. It's not so much getting hit at 350+ it's when you get hit 30 times before you can yell hit from a 25+ RPS weapon system.

I don't see the problem. You can still be stealthy and sneaky running full auto in doors. And if teams are going to be throwing tons a BBs at each other, let em. We have mag restrictions, once they're empty, you can move.

What he said. With the lowered FPS I'd be cool with FA indoors. People just have to play smart.

Can you register as a solo attendee and how does placement to a team happen?

What kind of radio restrictions/requirements are in place?

We place players with no team affiliation into squads with an established team to avoid having squads of players that have never worked together.

The AMS staff is FCC licensed our comm matrix will utilized 400-480Mhz spectrum for inter-squad and Command net communications for players and 136-174Mhz for Staff Max output 5w.

Kilroy - are you gong to run 2 guns? An indoor and an outdoor AEG? I guess I see that causing possible issues if someone grabs their 350 FPS AEG indoors by mistake.

All AEGs will be marked with a color coded system based on their FPS.

So while someone could "mistake" their AEGs and take in the wrong one, this should be easy enough for an admin to spot.

No sir. I will most likely have an AEG that's useable in both places and my trusty side arm in my G-Code.

Will I be able to use a home made lock for my P*?

Will there be vendors selling heavy bio bbs .36 or above?

Yes, AMS is totally P* friendly and actually a big fan of their products, best bet is have a reg lock for your tank though.

and

Possibly, not sure how many keep .36+ in stock at events.
