Getting ready for black site and just wondering what frequencies we will be using for UFS and just like everything I need to know for radio use at American Milsim. Also I am SL so would I have to set up my radio different to talk to other SLs or what? Thanks.

It would be best for you to run two radios, one on platoon net, and one on squad net. Get with your chain of command to work out which channels are designated for your nets. Also see the above link for comms matrix.

My job is to clarify and enforce policy, not to make policy.

Mr Armyman, this is the radio I use. You can monitor and transmit to two frequencies.
