Packing List

Recommended Posts

The following items are must have items for each Scout:

Food for 39 hours.  (Some meals will be eaten in the field while on ops, so it would be smart to bring some food that will not need to be cooked, and can be eaten quickly, or while in a short halt while on the move.)

Ability to carry 3 liters of water.  (You will  not be required to carry this water at all times, but you will need to be carrying 3 liters of water when you depart the start point on Friday night.  Re-supply may at times be spotty, and some of your missions may cover longer periods of time.  You may scale down based on mission requirements.)

Clear lens goggles.  (You may wear tinted lens' during the day, but you are required to have clear lenses during the night portions)

Sleeping Gear.  (As much, or as little as you wish to carry with you into the field.)

100 feet of 550 cord.

5 pairs of socks in a waterproof/ziplock bag.

Change of clothes.

Radio capable of operating on assigned freq/channel

Red light and Red rag to mark hit players.

The following items are needed per squad:

2ea E-tool(Entrenching Tool)/Folding Shovel

1ea GPS (Set to MGRS with WGS-84 map datum).  It might be a good idea to bring 2 per squad in the event that the person with the GPS gets seperated from the squad, or has to go back and re-spawn.

Sorry guys, I had posted this as hidden weeks ago, and it seem that I never un-hid it.  Sorry for the delay.

You are such a mean person for making us wait!!

Well, we don't want you pooping on the ground.

Socks:  We don't currently know the status of the field or weather for that time period.  This is simply in everyones best interest.  Were not going to force you to bring certain clothes, but this we want to make sure gets taken care of.

I am interested in moving from infantry to scout as a sniper, but since there is a lot of night movement, is NVG required to operate? First op with existing scout squad so wanted more info. Thanks

No, NVG's are not required, however they would be very helpful.  However, the Scouts are not a group that individuals can simply "switch" too.  Its a specialized group for the most experienced players looking to add another dimension to their OP.
