Guns in Buildings

Recommended Posts

If you're using a support weapon and don't want to lug a full size rifle around, get a carbine/PDW/Subgun. A Vz61, Uzi, MP5k, or similar would be a great sidearm for indoor/backup use. If I wind up playing as a support gunner it will be with an M60 and either an M16A1 or XM177.

tl;dr carry a backup.

Long as said gun in questions shoots below 400 in semi-auto only, it's good to go indoors. SSW's however, must fire with muzzle out of a window.

Muzzle must be out the window on the first floor, you can shoot out the window from behind it if you're on the second floor or higher of a building, they just don't want you to accidentally light someone up from half an inch away as they walk past your window, which is impossible on the second story.

Ok so can a sniper shoot in a building if they have their muzzle outside the window?

A sniper has a 100ft MED. Ensure any shots you make are 100ft+ to target unless you use a sidearm or SMG.

I would reason that if a SAW (60ft MED) has to break the plane to prevent accidental hits under that MED, so would a sniper (100ft MED).
