    Howdy, I'm Nick "Picasso"
Hailing from Midland TX, milsim nut and always happy to sling bbs.
    Events attended: CH3 / CH4 / CH5
  1. Hi there, Ran UFS for 3 years now at CH3, 4, and 5, but switching over to the greenboys for SF2. Just making sure, but is green tigerstripe approved for COST forces this year at SF2? If not, will be running M81 woodland. Also, silly question, but is a multicam plate carrier stupid on all that fugly green?
  2. Hey bud, Hailing from WTX here too, been to CH3, CH4, and CH5 so far, probably going to attend SF2 as well! The way it works is, when you order your ticket, you can write the name of the gang you'll be reppin', you'll buy the ticket, and will be emailed your confirmation. Later in the coming weeks, as the UFS bigwigs at AMS get individual names, names of specific teams, etc, they'll send out a full UFS faction roster. This roster is divided into platoons (by color), and then by squads, and all the radio freqs will be given for your squad. The squad you might be put in with should email you to introduce themselves, just like with my dad and I, we've ran with Travis and his awesome guys at CH3 and 4. This last year, we kicked ass out on our own, doing little fun AMS spooky-ooky missions. So, in short if you select no-team, or otherwise on the ticket sign-up, you'll be put into a squad with another team (from wherever in the world), or of rando's, and you'll rock and roll with them as you meet together at the briefings and the formations. But, to answer your question, if youre going solo, thats perfectly fine. Everyone I've met at the Playas sims were inviting and really awesome dudes. AMS staff, Bo, JP, Rick, etc. all fuckin grade A guys, and if you have any questions, just shout out again on the forums. And hell, you might even find a team near you that you can link up with after the sim, like some of us oldies from Midland. Also I would recommend, just as a tidbit, if you dont already have a good idea of what your on the field gear necessities should ultimately be: Water and food / Comms (Baofeng uv-5s, etc.) / batteries, hpa air, bbs. / gear that isnt gonna slow you down, sag, or make life hell.
  3. Hey everyone, Hyped for this year. Will HPA Fill passes be sold on site or only online?
  4. As someone who wears glasses, its not easy to find comfortable and low profile options for face and eyepro. However, in my current setup, I use a highcut maritime helmet. I want to find a full face mask that is low profile and fits somewhat well under the cut of the front. One mask I was looking at was Dye masks but i think they may be too bulky. (And pricey) A second option would be the Hk Army KLR. I really enjoy the small factor, replaceable lenses, and flat top. But, I cant find a seller under 80. My third would be the Valken profit sc. I really enjoy the design and they say it fits great with glasses, but it is bulkier. Any other ideas for small full face masks? Thanks, Nick "Picasso"
  5. Hey there, Just a quick scheduling question. A few times Ive heard that the schedule for startex and endex will be different this year and for me, I cant really alot too much time spent on the AO, considering I have to make a 6 hour drive to home and work in the morning. Could I get an idea of what the schedule might look like? P.S. I know info and briefing should be sent out soon, but still gotta alot for time as soon as possible. Thanks.
  6. Thats fantastic, just looked it up and so glad i did. Exactly what i was looking for. Thanks so much JP. Nick "Picasso"
  7. Hey there, As I'm working on my load out, eye-pro is prominent. I wanted to see if Oakley M Frames would do good, and I've heard great things with the Helo Kit and ballistic lenses. However, I wear prescription glasses and obviously they wouldn't fit inside the Helo kit. I've seen off-brand inserts such as URx, but I cant tell if the the attachment clips at the bridge of the glasses would fit together or not, if the inserts would fit inside the Helo kit, or what the visual restriction would amount to. I've found nothing, and i mean NOTHING online about using both at the same time, and I figured, theres no better a place to check than here. Ideas? Thanks, Nick "Picasso"
  8. Subbed. Fantastic channel, keep up the great work!
  9. Howdy, Picasso here just wondering about black card membership. Recently at Operation Copperhead 3, during the final raffle, my dad and I won 2 Black cards, which would be assigned by Bo, personally. If there comes the time where my dad doesn't have time or won't need the card account for that period of a year, will he be able to transfer that account to someone else? Thanks, Nick "Picasso"

  11. Howdy Wheeler, Welcome to AMS, and speaking for the whole of the forum community, were glad to see another addition to the firefight. Any questions or concerns can be taken up on their respective threads, or if it hasnt been made yet, you can make your own. Nick "Picasso"
  12. Howdy, Picasso here when we arrive in Playas, what gas stations, restaurants, hotels etc would be near (or in the next town)? My dad and I would like to camp on the AO itself and was wondering if there is going to be a specific area to bunk with your faction. Again, this is our first time at a AMS event and we are kinda flying by the seat of our pants. Thanks, Nick "Picasso"
  13. My dad and I want to play at Copperhead 3 this year. I am only 14 years old but have been actively playing airsoft for 2 years. What forms must my dad complete and do we bring these notarized forms to Copperhead or do we need to send them somewhere first to get approval prior to coming to the event?
