Welcome! I think you've got the right idea: see tan and you shoot it! CoST pride!

It's on the registration page for events and generally will stay more or less the same. That being said, for CoST most players use m81, digital woodland/woodland MARPAT, or straight OD. Gear color doesn't matter (except headwear! That must be green based), but I would suggest something green based, as coyote (Which I use for gear) and other tan color gear can get you some friendly fire.

Do you still have the hopup, barrel, m16, and m249?

So to start with, the tight bore will definitely increase your FPS. In my experience, it is somewhere around 15-25 FPS with a 6.01, but depends on a number of variables. Now on to the main question. The short answer would be yes, these things will make your shots more consistent and accurate. The ProWin hopup chamber being designed how it is makes the hop very consistent, which is largely because it relies on a different mechanism than a normal m4 hopup to put pressure on the nub, which won't let the arm get pushed up and lose pressure on the bucking. The barrel is the subject of much debate between 6.01, 6.03, and wide bore barrels. People usually say that a wide bore is the most accurate, but the problem with this is that they are pretty expensive and will significantly drop your FPS. The amount of accuracy gained from a wide bore probably won't be significant enough to warrant the effort of increasing your air volume unless you were trying to build a DMR. As far as tight bore barrels go, I have heard great things about Prometheus 6.03 barrels. I personally use a 6.01 for the higher efficiency and it also works well for accuracy. You may also want to look into a new hopup bucking and perhaps flat hopping it. As far as buckings the Prometheus purple is probably one of the most recommended ones, although I have heard good things about the madbull blue bucking.

Lost a small Swiss army knife with a flash drive. Probably somewhere in my car, but I might as well check here too.

I really like that you are making a 50mm version as well. I would like to buy a few earlier than the release, though, so I'm wondering 1: will you be at Broken Home? 2: Wou;d you be willing to sell me a couple there? I can't find any decent projectiles for a launcher that I made, which hase a 2" bore, so pretty much just name your price and I'll be buying.

FPS affected by elevation and humidity?

Alright, thanks. I'll try that. -

Like Mikey said, thank god for quick change spring gear boxes. I'm already shooting a bit hot with a shortened m120 so I'll be using about half of one down there. -
FPS affected by elevation and humidity?

The difference being that the air in front of the bb has an easy escape through the muzzle, making it similar to a cylinder with really horrible compression, which would counteract the denser air in the piston a slight amount, but the net would be an increase in velocity. I'm not saying you're completely wrong, it does play into the equation, but the air density would be the reason for the increased muzzle velocity. -

I'm pretty sure that Moonball is right. The increased atmospheric pressure means that the air being pushed by the piston to fire the bb will have more actual mass to compress, making for a higher pressure in the piston and thus a higher FPS, but it also will most likely lead to decreased performance over longer ranges because of increased drag on the bb. -

I can see your usernames. None of you are Spartacus. He's on vacation in the Bahamas.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe that land camo is very much like multicam, which would mean that it would not be CoST. Sorry man.
