TimmyHorton started following What's the girth of your.....arm?

Hello ladies and gentlemen, My sister and I are working on a prototype piece of gear and need to get the general measurement of teenage and adult arms around the Biceps and Triceps area, This measurement is important to try and make the gear as ''one size fits all'' as possible. If you are at least 16 years of age or older and are interested in helping us out you can reply below with measurements, To obtain this measurement 1.Extend your arm and rest it on a wall or table. 2.Place a sewing measuring tape or string around the ''peak'' or the tallest point of your Biceps and wrap around your arm taking care to not let the tape/string be too snug nor too loose. 3.Record measurement Thanks so much -Josh

KWA NOT SEMI-AUTO-ING!
TimmyHorton replied to Callsign-Hammer's topic in Airsoft Technical Discussion
Not a huge problem at all ,it sounds like your cut off lever is worn out all you need is to buy another one and take it to a Tech over at SS in atlanta if you don't feel comfortable taking it down yourself. -
Inside (any structure having 4 walls)sound grenades will kill you if you are within the 15 foot kill radius and are not behind HARD cover, outside however sound grenades are useless as you must be struck by a bb or pea/clay pellet from a grenade like tornado, cyclone, pea, enola's clay remake, thunder b with bbs etc... for it to count as a kill. Heres the rule set with everything down to smokes. EXPLOSIVE DEVICES, IED, ROCKETS AND SMOKE ** RED SMOKE IS RESERVED FOR AMS STAFF ONLY ** A. OUTSIDE All simulated explosives used I.E. Tornado grenade must detonate and cause a BB strike to eliminate a player. B. INSIDE All simulated explosives used must simply detonate within 15 feet to eliminate a player. A BB strike is NOT needed inside. “Inside†is defined as having four (4) walls and does not have to have overhead cover. C. All player grenades must be thrown under arm, this is to prevent injury. D. Any Pneumatic/Gas grenades that require CO2 or Green Gas/Propane are allowed. E. Please see below list for approved pyro grenades. F. Rockets fired by a HWS will have a 15ft kill radius from initial impact. G. Rockets fired by a HWS are only effective on structures if they hit INSIDE the structure itself. H. Rockets fired by a HWS effectively disable all Vehicles but does not kill its occupants unless impacted inside the cab. I. Players may use any “name brand†airsoft grenade (Escort, AI, etc...). No modified grenades are allowed. J. Ricochets from player thrown grenades is treated as fragmentation and will count as a hit. K. Thunder B's will be counted as a "grenade" when used as a suicide device with a lethal kill radius of 15 feet (must detonate). L. Suicide vests have a lethal radius of 12 feet and are triggered by the player simply displaying the device. M. Any suicide device must be TRIGGERED prior to being shot or captured for search. N. No explosives, open flame or hot burning smoke will be allowed for fire hazard/safety reasons. O. Smoke may not be used inside of buildings. P. No blank firing devices.

fenix and streamlight protac series make some great options for a fair price, opticsplanet is a great place to find realsteel stuff for good prices as alot of youtubers have 5% off coupons like country5 from Countryboy5 channel and unlike airsoft retailers when OP runs sales you can still use coupons and get pretty Gucci items for sometimes half the msrp. I use a Gen2 Inforce WML, honestly its good however its not one I would recommend unless you have a specific use, a light with more throw would be a better option for a weapon light but if you mount lights overbore it's a good option.

Yeah they were for sale but DAMs always sell out in about the first 30mins-1hour after tickets go live, I just got home from work tonight and saw they canceled them for OP:34 II .

The google maps puts things in 200ft grids I believe and parking is usually by the registration so while it would be possible to get back to your car it will be a walk from some areas of the AO. When you click on the event name like in this case Iron Clad 3 right above the Q&A topic there is a topic called the Ironclad archive and it has all the threads and information from previous Iron clad events such as the map I linked it will also have the events AARs so you can read through those and get a better feel for what you can expect to see and then you can plan for it. Honestly I wouldn't worry about having to get a back up gun from the car I've seen dudes with taped up JG ak47s make it through events ok but if you want to you can load your mags and gun into a gun bag and leave it at the FOB under a tarp that is what I did at Op34 with my M249 and its easier since you only have to cross the AO with it twice once in once out just make sure you put your name on it ,lock it and bike chain it to something in case someone decides they want to ''Mistake'' it for theirs. Like I said I'm not trying to be an ass or turn you off going, knowledge is power and experience is key ,once you get IC3 under your belt you'll know what to bring and where to go for next year. if you like IC3 when you go, check out faded giant, iron horse and Reindeer games since they are also pretty close to you too.

I believe it is allowed if you keep it under 30 rps , the reason I am not sure 100% is that I've only seen them on vehicles so I'm not sure if it is good to carry then again I don't think many people want to try it lol.

This is answered in the rule set mate. roles ROLE RESTRICTIONS SQLs leaders are responsible to ensure their squad follows the event rules, roles, ammo and reloading restrictions. A squad is defined as a team of 12 people. A. Four (4) Sniper/Spotter teams allowed per main factions. One (1) per Squad Max limit. B. Six (6) EOD specialist per main factions, these are the only players that can disarm/demo explosives. C. One (1) Medic, HWS, DMR per main faction squad. (Some special teams will be exempt from this rule) D. Two (2) SSW per squad. E. Players may serve dual roles i.e. DMR/HWS but the limit must be observed. F. Game staff may assume any of these roles while embedded with a squad. Parking to AO http://americanmilsim.com/forum/index.php?/topic/2753-important-driving-directions-to-ironclad/ I do not mean this in a rude or sharp way I understand coming into a new event organization you will have many questions about what you can and can not do it's natural we all do but please take the time to read over the rules carefully and do a quick search on the forum using the search bar to see if your question was already asked and answered before making a bunch of new topics, If you can not find the answer you need then consolidate all your questions into one topic,This will also get you a quicker answer as you do not have to wait for someone to come on and give you a answer over 3 different posts. The Rule set http://americanmilsim.com/forum/index.php?/topic/3201-american-milsim-ruleset/&do=findComment&comment=26440
