  1. Buy a hydration bladder. Source makes a fantastic and durable bladder, but camelbaks are fine for most purposes. Hydration is always key in staying an effective combat unit
  2. Full time Criminal Justice Psychology student. Working as a Criminal Defense Investigator at the moment.
  3. No kidding? I run a tk15, for the money its a great light. The only complaint I've ever had with it is that rings to screw in the battery cap could use a little work. I run it with a pressure switch on my rifle for ops, works like a charm. On its high output setting I found that I could spotlight people hundreds of yards away.
  4. Tough luck man. I'm really surprised you didn't make it with such a solid package
  5. That is interesting to hear. I've been running a pair of TR-1 Kiowas myself and had no problems with them in lighter terrain. I really really love the soles on them though, very aggressive and grippy outdoors. They also have a really light feel to them considering they are full sized boots. The other boots that I run day to day is a pair of 5.11 Tac Trainer Mids, which I'm not impressed with. I've been wearing them since Novemberish (4-5 months) on a day to day basis and man do they suck. They insoles that they came with stock were literally just a flimsy piece of plastic. Having replaced the insoles with my own pair of Superfeet inserts (Best inserts ever. Cannot recommend them enough for shoes, boots, etc) the boots are actually comfortable. Considering 5.11 is basically geared towards leo's I expected them to hold up much better. However, day to day use for less than half a year has succeeded wearing down many of the stitches, particularly on the front of the boot and the leather. Luckily the front leather is triple stitched. The rest of the boot has held up very well, and I expect to get a decent length of use out of them before the front finally wears out. My final complaint about these boots is that I feel the vibram soles are also garbage. Their design is extremely unaggressive, and they provide very little added grip on most surfaces. The soles, which I believe were advertised as oil / no slip resistant or whatever, are like ice skates on wet surfaces.
  6. Do you have problems with weight distribution? I run a similar Epc and have had horrible problems with the standard epc straps cutting into my shoulders over long Ops
  7. Here is my general workout schedule per week. Runs often rearranged to fit my work schedule. If you have a spotter or are confident enough in your lifting you can substitute certain exercises for another. Ex. Dumbbell press substituted by chest press. This is basically a suggestion, use your judgement in substituting, skipping, rearranging exercises / workouts. Its also a good idea to work a low-weight high rep weight workout every 4 weeks or so. NOTE THIS IS MADE FOR ADVANCED WEIGHT LIFTERS. If you don't know what any of this stuff is start with something else. Monday – Chest Exercise Number sets Number reps Tempo 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn * 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn * 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn * or bench press if you have a bench press with safety catch bars or a competent spotter Tuesday – Lats Exercise Number sets Number reps Tempo 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 1s up 1s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn Wednesday – Legs S 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn *If you have a squat cage with safety catch bars or a competent spotter Thursday – Shoulders Exercise Number sets Number reps Tempo 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 1s up 1s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 10-20 2s up 2s dn Friday – Arms Exercise Number sets Number reps Tempo 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn 3 4-8 2s up 2s dn SATURDAY Ab workouts 5 Supersets, 3 mike in between •crunch at max weight (dead) •crunch with 50% weight (dead) •bicycles with 50% weight (dead) •crunch with 0 (dead) •bickcles with 0 (dead) •side plank 2x In addition to the weight lifting I run 2-3 times a week, for 3-6 miles. If you have the time I suggest adding in some weighted rucks marches or runs if you can. If your pretty short and skinny like I am building some muscle can be a huge factor in lasting a 20+hour game. Its all about long term endurance and functional strength
