  1. Head gear is not required but yes a bandana would be fine. If you convert any gun it would have to actually be looked at by staff at the event. That being said, it is a huge risk that the gun would not be allowed so if you choose that route make sure you have a backup or the bad weekend will be all on you.

  4. OK if you are serious about the Mickey Mouse hat then milsim might not be something for you. Any legitimate airsoft gun is allowed, however, a g3 would be considered a rifleman not a support weapon. yes if a DMR is to low it can still be a DMS, as long as it meets the requirements for a DMR. FPS is a limit, not a goal.
  5. email info@americanmilsim about this.
  6. Removal or painting is up to you. Some people keep them and some don't.
  7. Orange tips are not required.
  8. Info@americanmilsim.com is the best place to give feedback.
  9. Here is a link to some helmet photos from the game. https://www.facebook.com/greg.doubletapairsoft/media_set?set=a.714598112018608.1073741851.100004052781021&type=3
  10. AMS is always open to feedback. Ironclad 2 ended at 11pm and the majority of people said that was too late so FG4 was modified. The times are also set for each AO as they have different features. I am sure the owners will try to come up with what they feel is the best possible overall time frame.
  11. The night game will possibly run till about 9 pm if they use the same format as FG4.
  12. Negative ghost rider. not an approved pattern.
  13. Yes registration closes at 5 pm. Last safety brief is so that you might not have to cram both the next morning, it is a courtesy meeting for the people that can make it.
  14. Carbine rifles do not qualify for DMR. As per the last line in the rule set under DMR. M4 is a carbine so that is a no go.
  15. Individual, but all of your people need to put the team name in the team affiliation section when your register to buy your ticket
  16. An M4 cannot be a DMR. Please read the rules section of the forum.
  17. Hey man I have been reading these posts and wanted to soak it in before giving a reply, so here goes. First off I am sorry for your less than great experience at the game. After reading your posts a few times I would like to suggest that if you decide to give AMS another try that you should indeed sign up as a squad leader, depending on the roster you might not get a squad leader role but who knows. Furthermore I feel that you should give UFS a try. UFS structure is not any better than COST but after reading your posts if might suit you better. Either way please feel free to give us any futher constructive feedback, you can contact any of the owners, myself or Alex on these forums or even private message us, might not be able to please everyone all the time but that does not mean that we take this lightly. If indeed you give it another try I would also suggest that you ask questions about intel ect at the FOB when you can. Im a combat Controller and still ask the CO or XO for assignments everytime I am back at FOB. We try to keep some type of leadership at the FOB but when it hits the fan sometimes it is not possible. Thanks again for your feedback. Yankee out.
  18. Glad you had a mostly positive experience. And thanks for your support. Please feel free to contact the owners, Alex, myself or any staff you feel comfortable with about feedback to improve things. Just keep in mind that not everyone sees the same points of view and we will do what we can to make your experience better.
  19. Thank you to all that came out and supported AMS, COST, and UFS. Without you, AMS would not be here for us to enjoy. And for those that thank us, you have a great your welcome back at ya. Hope everyone had fun and safe travels. Please feel free to contact staff with feedback so that we may continue to improve and evolve.
  20. If you are going to FG4 this weekend please read over the rule set. War crimes can cause you to lose the game and have a crappy time. Play fair, play honest, and have fun. http://americanmilsim.com/forum/index.php?/topic/3201-american-milsim-ruleset/
  21. Everyone please make sure your camera gear is go to go fo FG4 next weekend.
  22. You can also fill out the GTI waiver. Both AMS and GTI waivers must be turned in at registration. http://americanmilsim.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=183
  23. All hpa and gas guns that chrono with .32 Max fps is 320.
