Ah man we missed you guy this time! Damn.
 
Overall, we had a great time. The AO was pretty awesome. Weather was great and , for the most part, so were the players on UFS. I feel particularly bad that I was the guy that shot out Top's tooth. (Sorry boss hog.) I skipped my bleed out to track him down, shake his hand and apologize.
 
Command was solid. Gameplay was solid. Additionally, I had a blast fighting on CoST again to help secure a victory! Feels good man.

Perhaps a mesh mask could be the new lolipop. 

As at all AMS events had a blast slinging bbs, meeting new people, hanging with old friends, doing work or the work we could lol, can't praise enough so ill leave with this

No sweat man! Its all good Just a hazard of the game and another reason why your face protection is so important!!!  Not just the eyes! Teeth too! Was a good shot at my big ole grape... hard to miss LOL!!

Thanks Kilroy no hard feelings at all! Had it fixed today by my awesome dentist! Who might be a new addition to the sport after i told him what happened and showed the pictures I had!! LMAO!!!

AMS - You guys rock! Thanks once again for putting on another great game on an amazingly fun and unique AO. St. Louis Airsoft Players have grown accustom to the type of quality you give our airsoft community and once again you delivered. Thanks again!
 
The AO was fantastic. Texas folks are the best. Thanks for the hospitality. Loved the Green Frog. The Knights Inn needs another coat of paint.
 
UFS got schooled on patience and organized engagement. Good on ya CoST. Fair and square. Next time. Bring that up S@!#t up north!
 
Saw a few issues. Normal stuff. No biggies. Its a game afterall. Emotions can and will get the best of us. But after 53 years, I can attest to the fact that we're only a bunch of guys with testosterone issues.

Me and my guys had a great time. We LOVED the field terrain even though it took its toll on us and I personally took some pretty good falls.. The staff was great and professional like always with AMS, and I'd like to give a shout out to the on field admins. They did a great job solving disputes and keeping gameplay clean and fun.
 
Now on to the game... UFS... We. Got. Whooped. And the reason we got whooped was because we lacked the teamwork Cost had. I can't tell you how many times I saw people runoff and say "hey lets go try to get some kill cards". This isn't call of duty, there are objectives for a reason. Another thing I saw a lot, and I mean A LOT, was people sitting 40 yards back, barking orders, and yelling at people to push forward, while they sat back there and contradicted themselves. How do you expect people to follow your orders and follow you in to battle when your hiding in a building with your gun down? Also, there were several times we got direct orders from Top to do something, and half the people ignored the orders and went to go pick cactus out of the valley. Top has been an amazing CO over the years, so if he is telling you to do something, you should probably do it. He knows what's best for the team and would never send you out to just die. Amazing speech to try and rally the troops Top. Only if Frosty had gotten it on camera.
 
I have a few lessons UFS should learn from this:
1. Listen to your CO for Christ sakes
2. Protect your support gunners. And if one is firing, you should be moving.
3. If you're a medic, don't run to the frontline to try to get as many kills as possible. A medic is useless when they are dead (Proven Fact, MythBusters tested it).
4. Teamwork is key

I saw that happen. I was up there with the guy who got the card and was really impressed with that Badger. Good on ya brother.

Personally, I think its about time this thread gets locked up. Nothing more constructive is being said at this point. Continue these conversations in PMs.

Zippo... Hell of an AAR and it takes a bigger man to try and calm everyone down and take the GAME back to what it used to be! Simple, Fun, and a way for us men (and a few women) to get off our asses and do something we enjoy! Anyone can sit behind a keyboard and type away blaming every person on the field except themselves... The real leaders are the ones who try to find a resolution to it rather than constantly bitch.

If your AAR was any resemblance of your leadership on the field... I would run under you any day! As a matter of fact... I am pretty sure we are in the same squad for FG3! See ya there Boss!

After I bled out I walked over and gave the guys in door of building 48 (don't know letters) my kill card. I figured they earned it. I was pretty happy when I found out it was the MAKO guys. If you are gonna get taken down nice to be taken down by a worthy opponent.
