  1. I agree with all points. I was just curious. Thanks for the responses.
  2. Has there been any thought given to whether or not the new Milsim West Tourniquet http://milsimwest.com/milsim-west-milsim-tourniquet/will be allowed in the future at AMS events?
  3. Lost small Bushnell binocs in/around Caen Saturday, I think. Should have "Badger SLAP 47" in blue paint marker written on the sides. Also has Real Tree duct tape on parts.

  9. Also which if any headset support split audio like the real comtac III ach.
  10. Since we are on the subject does anyone have any experience with a headset plugged into a z-tactical dual ptt like the z118 while using two baofengs? Specifically I am interested in knowing if the audio is split between both ears. For instance does radio a only play in the right ear while radio b only plays in the left ear.
  11. I typically run dual comms. I personally prefer the speaker mic/ear piece config. With my Icons I used a Pryme StormTrooper with a semi custom ear mold. When I switched to Baofengs I also switched to the Baofeng speaker/mic. I kept the Pryme ear piece. I am very disappointed in the Baofeng speaker/mic. That said I am used land mobile/public safety equipment. I am going back to Pryme speaker/mics.

  19. Obviously when SLAP is running as our own squad with our own medics such as BH its rarely an issue. Typically if we are embedded we inform our squad mates before we head out. All that said, lack of standardization of IFAK style location in general "knocks on the door" of dead men don't talk. I would be lying if I said I never said "Its in my shoulder pocket". It would also be a fallacy to say that this problem doesn't occur with an IFAK. Nearly every medic has always asked where's your bandage? Here's a question, until you bleed out are you dead? If so why can I yell for a medic? To me it seems wounded men can talk so hence identifying your IFAK location isn't a violation of rules. Just my thought.

  21. Most of us in SLAP run our bandages folded in our shoulder pockets. Unless you forget and put something else in there (:cough: my bad at the start of Ironclad) its pretty efficient. I personally like game ifak separated from real ifak. I keep a small pseudo blow out kit in my right thigh pocket and my real ifak is usual in a pack or pouch on my 2d line gear.
